Sealaska Technical Services is seeking a motivated Civil/Structural Engineer II to join our team. The Civil Engineer II assists in the engineering design, modification, and installation activities of unique steel and concrete platforms used to support sensors, monitoring systems, and associated equipment used on international and domestic projects. Designs are based on the parameters of existing and new infrastructure projects including airports, seaports, and border crossing facilities. Design focus may include, but is not limited to, foundations, buildings, roadways, bridges, tunnels, water/sewage/drainage systems, and associated communications and electrical systems. This position uses a variety of engineering principles to develop plans and specifications, and includes the use engineering software to prepare designs, schedules and reports.
This is a full-time/salaried-benefited opportunity based in Richland, WA. This position requires the selected applicant to travel frequently to foreign locations where projects are conducted. Overseas work does include project uplift rates. Work in this position is performed under the supervision of a registered licensed professional.
